Darieon McFadden is the Executive Assistant of Scholars Equity Network. He is also a second-year doctoral student studying Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies at Howard University, with a research interest in higher education to workforce pipeline, mainly for incarcerated populations. He graduated from Morehouse School of Medicine with a Master of Public Health degree in May 2023, receiving the MPH Honor Graduate award for his academic excellence.

Darieon’s master's research presentation, "Leveling the Playing Field: Providing Reading Resources to Promote Academic Achievement in Atlanta’s Neighborhood Planning Unit I,” proposed an innovative program to increase educational resources and outcomes for children aged birth to 8 years.

At Morehouse School of Medicine, Darieon also worked with the Kennedy Satcher Center for Mental Health Equity (KSCMHE). At KSCMHE, he took part in the release of Embedding Equity into 988. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of South Carolina and earned multiple community involvement and leadership honors.
