Aaron Stallworth is the Executive Director of Scholars Equity Network, where he leads initiatives aimed at promoting equity and access for underrepresented communities. With over two decades of experience in educational leadership and advocacy, Aaron has dedicated his career to dismantling barriers and creating opportunities for all scholars.
Residing in Washington, DC, Aaron brings a deep commitment to community engagement and collaboration. His passion for education stems from his own experiences, fueling his desire to ensure that every student has the resources and support they need to succeed. Under his leadership, Scholars Equity Network has expanded its reach and impact, partnering with the GMS Alumni network, community and nonprofit organizations, and policymakers to foster an inclusive community for the scholars that he serves.
Aaron holds a Master's degree in Psychology in Education from Teachers College at Columbia University and has been recognized for his innovative approaches to equity-driven initiatives. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and workshops, sharing insights on best practices for equitable education.
When he’s not advocating for those that come from under-resourced communities, Aaron enjoys spending quality time with his wife, two daughters, and their beloved French bulldog, Dougie. Together, they explore the vibrant culture of Washington, DC and the world around them.
